Well! If everyone gets here (or whom ever does) and we have Friday available, we would like to do some antique shopping, a tour of the iron ore mines that is a rich history lesson, maybe have a boat or two go out for a fishing trip, golf?, maybe take in a cocktail or two at any of the local pubs, take a bike ride on the new bike trails in the area, swim,......places to go, people to see!!!!
And there is more...a good friend, Captain Brad, has agreed to take us on afternoon pontoon party barge excursions and/or evening sunset pontoon retreats. These pontoon expeditions around beautiful Serpent Lake will surely offer treasured memories to last a lifetime.
August is getting very close and spring should have arrived with the mosquitos by then. Please make plans to join us if you have not already. Guaranteed good time had by all. This is the Denos and Lanoues we are talking about. Added bonus birthday cake for Fern's 87th !! Let us know if you are planning on coming. If you ahve not made plans please do so. Sure would hate for anyone to miss out. Campground is limited, so if you would like a spot let one of us know. We may as well take over the whole thing !!
Well, we did some very serious planning last night for the reunion. It's coming faster and faster. We're planning on having a fish fry on Thursday nite for whomever is here. Friday and Saturday night meals are planned. BUT, we sure would like to know who is planning on being here and the nights that they will be here for the meals. Are you coming???? It will be fun! Up and at em bright and early Friday morning. We have alot of places to go and people to see in a short amount of time! Saturday, loosen up that arm for the bean bag throw! Have to see if Jake still has it in him to take the tournament! There are still a few camp sites left at the Crosby park if you are planning on camping for the weekend. The reservation can be made at 218-546-5021. We are planning a "silent auction" for Saturday. Please bring your basket of goodies or item that you would like to donate to the silent auction. Proceeds will be given to the next reunion committee. Anxiously waiting to hear from you ALL!!!
